The fried green tomatoes were delish. I had the biscuits and gravy and they were tasty, too. Took home some grits. All good.

Came here for brunch with friends and the food was delicious. The place is small, so I would avoid trying to take a really large party, I know they had seating in the back of the restaurant but I couldn't see it from where I was. It gives an old school vibe a. We all loved our food. The staff was really nice and answered whatever questions we had. I do recommend grabbing a reservation if possible because they were busy when we we t around 11am.

Breakfast gem! Staff was super sweet and gave a great coffee recommendation around the corner when we had to wait for our table. Food was outstanding! Generous potions and very flavorful. Must visit and worth the wait.

I've gotten a few "oh no" clicks on this review, so now I don't understand what that button is for. Do people disagree with my high praise of this restaurant? I don't know why. Do people think that some might accidentally get the breakfast salad and not realize there is bacon in it? Maybe. Anyway, i wanted to confirm that this place was delicious and i can't wait to go back.

We walked past this place yesterday while exploring town and it was around 2pm, which is when they close. However, there was an employee bringing out trash and invited us to come back tomorrow (today). Arrived on Saturday morning at 8:15 ( they open at 8) they were already almost full. Food is extremely fresh and healthy tasting. Had the hash bowl and it was full of flavors and completely devoid of oil and grease. It was remarkable. This is a must try. Does look like a greasy spoon, hole in the wall, but looks are very deceiving. Did I also mention it is reasonable. Must try

Great breakfast spot with super attentive service. We got seated right away, but there was a wait by the time we were done. The grits were great , the waffles were first rate and the coffee was hot. Service was impressive as the whole staff made sure we were taken care of.

Small and cozy diner. The service was good--no complaints there. As soon as we got our food we started eating so no pics there. I got the 2 eggs with the biscuit and bacon + sausage. Everything was good but keep in mind this is a Mediterranean restaurant so the flavors are different than a traditional American breakfast. My partner got the hash and he said it was absolutely delicious! Mimosas were 12oz and cheap so that's always a plus.

We were looking for a breakfast location and happened to come across The Med via yelp reviews. We decided to check it out and love the diner feeling this location has. We came in on a Thursday morning roughly around 11 AM and we were greeted and seated promptly. This location is tiny so for larger groups, it may be hard to accommodate. For breakfast I opted for their Western Mojada scramble. The egg scramble were full of peppers and onions and tomatoes and it was a nice compliment with the potatoes and the biscuit. Potatoes were absolutely delicious that nice crisp on them exactly what you would want in a breakfast potato. My husband got the scrambled eggs and bacon and a pancake. The pancake is literally the size of a plate, so you really only need one. The pancake was very dense and as much as my husband loves pancakes, it was hard to get through it. He also got a side of grits, and they are by far the best grits that we've had since being in Asheville. Great seasoning and great consistency. The staff are absolutely wonderful! We were never ignored, and all of them worked together so well that it was a pleasure to just watch them work.
